ART. 1
The Association I Filarmonici Onlus announces the music event “Masterclass in Verona”. It will take place from 17th to 24th July 2019 and it will include masters courses and concerts, that will be held mainly in Teatro Ristori in Verona - Italia.
ART. 2
Anyone (irrespective of his/her nationality) can subscribe for the event. All participants will have to bring their fiscal code and their national health card. Non-EU citizens must have a residence permit.
ART. 3
The courses will officially start on 17th July at 9:30 in Teatro Ristori, in Verona. The participants are summoned on 16th July from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. at the headquarters of the Association I Filarmonici onlus, via dei Mutilati 4/f, 37122 Verona, in order to fill in the registration forms. The registration procedure can also be completed on 17th July in the morning, upon agreement.
ART. 4
Both active participants and listeners can participate in the courses. Each course will start with a minimum of 5 active participants. It is up to the teacher to confirm the admission of active participants (should there be teacher assistants, the teacher will decide the time distribution for each student), and the issuing of honorary certificates with a possible scholarship). During the event, student concerts will be held in the evening, and honorary certificates and scholarships will be given, in the form of bonus (free participation in the next year courses) or of paid concerts during the year. All these acknowledgments are at the discretion of the teacher in agreement with the art direction. Active participants will have the right to at least 5 one-to-one lessons of no less than 45 minutes. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
ART. 5
The participants will have their own part of the pieces that will be studied. Whoever wishes to avail himself of a collaborative pianist, will have to attach to the application the list of the pieces he/she wants to play. The list has to be sent before 10th June. The collaborative pianists can refuse to play the pieces received after that date.
ART. 6
The reservations must be sent no later than 10th June 2019, to the directorate of I Filarmonici onlus.
ART. 7
The participants will complete their registration by sending the completed application form and a copy of the receipt of the registration fee of EUR 70 (refundable only if the course doesn’t start). Applications must be sent by 10th June (the postmark will serve as proof). After that date, other participants will be admitted depending on the availability. The participants will have to settle the sum due for the course and to hand an identity document at their arrival, or, in any case, peremptorily before the beginning of the courses.
ART. 8
The association will supply equipped classrooms. A piano will be available to the participants in the piano class for at least 2 hours a day. The schedule will have to be agreed upon by the students.
